LITTLE HANDS LITTLE FEET CLOTHING PROGRAM

Mission Commission LHLF Coordinators are:
Valerie Jorgensen, and Ruth Birchmeier,
WORK SESSIONS are Wednesdays - 10:00 a.m. (Always Check Sunday Bulletins for Work Session Closures)

Since 2004 a Mission at St. Andrew's UMC is to help children in crisis who have an urgent need for clothing.
Via Social Agencies Requests we provide new or gently used clothing for boys/girls; size: newborns up to size 16.
You can support this ministry by
  • Donating gently used children's clothing (These can be left in the Narthex by the Mission Closet , in the marked container for donations).
  • We are always in need of Diapers - New socks and underwear - boys and girls/all sizes - Clothing for boys and girls Preemies
  • Helping to sort/bundle clothing on Wednesday mornings. (Little Hands - Little Feet/LHLF) workroom is in Room 307.
  • More specific needs throughout the year are posted in the church bulletin.

  • Our ministry is mainly supported by Missions and, in the past, Clothing Sales
Also your donations of recycled ink cartridges help us buy items from Staples Rewards
Another wonderful support comes from the Kohl's Helps Program.
Intern teams from that company work at non-profit organizations providing, not only labor for a project, but a monetary gift also. LHLF has been fortunate to have that aid on several occassions, as well as personal donations by the Kohl's interns who have conducted clothing drives among other employees.
We have received support also from many other Churches, such as The Haddonfield UMC & The Haddon Heights UMC.
We are also gratified that we have inspired other groups to start up LH-LF type missions.
In January 2017 we received support from Cherry Hill at the Croft Farm on the Martin Luther King Day of Service
On Feb. 2nd - We're proud to share that our LH-LF ministry has chosen as a recipient of new pajama donations from the Camden County Chapter of the Pajama Program

In November- December we hold a Coat Drive and our annual Christmas Time "GIVING TREE" : (Click Here To See the 2016 GIVING TREE Grow)

Thank you so much for your continued generosity
